Six peoples join forces in each realm. But since the discovery of the Labyrinth however, the Minotaurs have reappeared.
It is possible - with the Labyrinth of the Minotaur expansion - to play as one of the members of the bull people.
This is divided into three enemy tribes, each one being an ally of a realm.

The Britons

The Highlanders

The Avalonians
Britons have been populating Albion for so long that they are now the predominant race in this Realm. A proud people, they have defeated all enemies – humans and monsters alike - who have set foot on their lands and they have helped Arthur to turn this Realm into the magnificent civilisation it is today. Faithful followers of the light of Camelot, their considerable versatility allows them to have access to just about every class.

Classes: Cabalist, Cleric, Scout, Reaver, Heretic, Mauler, Armsman, Minstrel, Mercenary, Friar, Paladin, Necromancer, Infiltrator, Sorcerer, Wizard, Theurgist.

A race originating from the northern Highlands of Albion, the Highlanders' imposing stature and strong constitution were developed by the harsh living conditions of the land. Their traditions and beliefs are gradually becoming more similar to those of the Britons, but they are not particularly drawn to magic, preferring instead to make good use of their impressive size which makes them fearsome warriors.

Classes: Cabalist, Scout, Reaver, Armsman, Minstrel, Mercenary, Necromancer, Infiltrator, Sorcerer.

Hailing from the legendary island city of Avalon, to which very few of Albion's inhabitants have successfully gained entry, Avalonians are very keen on magic not only because of their origins but also because of their intelligence, which is greater than their physical strength. Tall, thin and rather reserved, they keep to themselves and avoid Albion society. Most are dedicated to their goddess, Ceridwen, the protector of nature and life.

Classes: Cleric, Heretic, Armsman, Mercenary, Paladin, Sorcerer, Wizard, Theurgist.

The Saracen

The Inconnu

The Half Ogres
The descendants of Sir Palomides, a Knight of the Round Table, and hailing from distant southern lands, these men with a dark complexion have managed to acclimatise themselves to colder regions and to a civilisation very different to their own. Their worship of numerous spirits and their culture frightened many but their devotion to the realm has won over the most suspicious. Small in stature compared to the other Albion inhabitants, they are agile and master a vast range of abilities which enables them to access a variety of classes.

Classes: Cabalist, Scout, Reaver, Armsman, Minstrel, Mercenary, Necromancer, Infiltrator, Sorcerer.

The origins of the Inconnu are still shrouded in mystery, as they are themselves unable to offer any explanations. Their recent appearance coincided with that of a great number of undead creatures unleashed by the evil Morgana. It is well known that the Inconnu are servants to the Lord of the Underworld, Arawn, which explains their pale complexion. Incensed at seeing Morgana bringing his subjects back to life to turn them into monsters, Arawn is said to have sent the Inconnu to help defend Albion and Avalon against the evil Morgana.

Classes: Cabalist, Scout, Reaver, Heretic, Armsman, Mercenary, Necromancer, Infiltrator, Sorcerer.

Former cave dwellers on the island of Avalon, Half Ogres are present in very small numbers and only set foot on Albion very recently. A cross between an Ogre and an Avalonian, Half Ogres are tall and strong but their Avalonian blood has endowed them with the power to wield magic. Despite this strange crossbreeding, they have managed to quickly gain acceptance among Albion's inhabitants.

Classes: Cabalist, Armsman, Mercenary, Sorcerer, Wizard, Theurgist.

The Celts

The Firbolg

The Elves
When Hibernia's former inhabitants disappeared behind the Veil, the Celts found a land on which they could settle and prosper in harmony with nature. They are the largest race on the island and are familiar with all its facets inside and out. They therefore possess more varied skills than the other races and know how to harness the magic running deep in the roots of Hibernia, all of which enable them to access many classes. They worship nature, the many deities inherent to it and the goddess Dana.

Classes: Animist, Bainshee, Bard, Champion, Druid, Mentalist, Valewalker, Blademaster, Mauler, Hero, Ranger, Vampiir, Warden.

Inhabitants of Hibernia long before the Celts, the Firbolg are huge, strong beings rumoured to be half-man, half-giant. They are relatively peaceful, as attuned to nature as the Celts and their culture is increasingly similar to that of the Celts. Whilst their immense size prevents them from accessing certain classes, it also enables them to become powerful warriors.

Classes: Animist, Bard, Druid, Valewalker, Blademaster, Hero, Warden.

Descendants of the Tuatha De Danann, these tall, beautiful beings are blessed by virtue of their divine ancestry with immortality and never-ending youth. They generally keep to themselves and their superior attitude often creates resentment in other races. Hidden for a long time behind the Veil of the Underworld, they reappeared when Hibernia faced a threat from enemy realms. Although their physique is not designed for hand-to-hand combat, their exceptional talent for magic makes them an invaluable ally.

Classes: Bainshee, Champion, Eldritch, Mentalist, Enchanter, Blademaster, Nightshade, Ranger.

The Lurikeen

The Sylvan

The Shar
Another magical race which for a long time sought refuge in the Underworld, the Lurikeens are the Elves' allies, whose talent for magic they share. Fickle, mischievous and immortal - except of course in the event of a violent death – their small size sets them apart from the Elves. Their tiny stature proves to be an advantage in activities requiring stealth and agility, qualities which they use as much for their cruel tricks as for defending Hibernia.

Classes: Bainshee, Champion, Eldritch, Mentalist, Enchanter, Nightshade, Hero, Ranger, Vampiir.

These humanoid beings, hailing from the legendary island of Hy Brasil, fascinate many because of their resemblance to trees with their brown bark-like skin and their leaf-like hair. Powerful and slender, they are defenders of Nature and have joined the Hibernian Alliance in return for support in protecting their island against the returning Fomorians.

Classes: Animist, Druid, Valewalker, Hero, Warden.

Hailing from the Underworld, the Shar are powerful and strange beings who arrived suddenly to help for reasons as yet unknown. The Shar are different from the Elves and the Lurikeen in every way, starting with their exceptional resilience in combat and their past relations from the other side of the Veil. Their support is nonetheless significant, even if their motives are not so impressive. They are in fact the only defenders of Hibernia to fight purely out of aspiration.

Classes: Champion, Mentalist, Blademaster, Hero, Ranger, Vampiir.

The Norsemen

The Dwarves

The Trolls
Tall, tough and hardy humans, the Norsemen are the main race of Midgard. Driven out by the cold and the snow, they moved to these lands with the help of the Dwarves. They worship many gods and giants and this faith has endowed them with powers which can make them powerful warriors or priests. They have very strong ties to the Dwarves, with whom they fought fiercely against the Trolls and Kobolds.

Classes: Shadowblade, Berserker, Hunter, Healer, Warrior, Warlock, Mauler, Runemaster, Spiritmaster, Savage, Skald, Thane, Valkyrie.

The first 'civilised' inhabitants of Midgard, Dwarves are short and stocky and like most races, essentially lived underground until the Norsemen arrived. Experts in the skill of ironworks and craftsmanship in general, they share the same faith as the Norsemen and have access to more or less the same classes. Dwarves are also formidable and courageous enemies.

Classes: Berserker, Hunter, Healer, Warrior, Runemaster, Skald, Thane.

Trolls are the most fearsome creatures an army could have at its disposal because of their tremendous size and the fact that they are made of stone. But their strength and resilience contrast with their characteristic slowness and lack of agility, not to mention their well-known dim-wittedness, which essentially confines them to the role of fighters. Battle is a way of life for them; they do not fear death and sometimes devour the corpses of their enemies. The mere mention of their name is often enough to terrify their opponent. Former enemies of both the Norsemen and the Dwarves, they suddenly put their former quarrels to the side and joined the Alliance.

Classes: Berserker, Chaman, Warrior, Bonedancer, Savage, Skald, Thane.

The Kobolds

The Valkyn

The Frostalf
Small blue-skinned creatures, the Kobold were despised by the inhabitants of Midgard, who they used to attack in a deceitful and underhand manner. Living as thieves who preyed on the weak, they roamed the land and sought refuge in the mountains. Upon seeing the Trolls join forces with the Dwarves and the Norsemen, their tribal leaders, the matriarchs, decided to copy them. Despite their distrust, the other races of Midgard value their distinctive and varied talents and the fact that they share common gods.

Classes: Shadowblade, Chaman, Hunter, Warrior, Warlock, Runemaster, Bonedancer, Spiritmaster, Savage, Skald.

Humanoids of average build with dark skin covered in thick fur, the Valkyn come from the mythical volcanic island of Aegir, which is home to the ancestors of the Trolls. The capture of the ancient city of Trollheim by an enemy race, the Morvalt, led them to join the Alliance to liberate the island from their enemies (and those of the Trolls) and to protect the integrity of Midgard. Nimble and quick, their sharpness surprises the other inhabitants of Midgard, who value them without reservation.

Classes: Shadowblade, Berserker, Hunter, Warrior, Bonedancer, Savage.

This race, which for a long time was not known to exist, appeared from the distant icy lands of Nifleheim, following expeditions launched from Midgard in search of reinforcements. Capable of withstanding extremely cold conditions and with average constitution, the Frostalf resemble human beings with grey skin. Above all respectful of the goddess Hel, who reigns over their icy expanse where lost souls wander, they are not blessed with talents from all of the gods and excel, above all, in priesthood or activities requiring dexterity.

Classes: Shadowblade, Chaman, Hunter, Healer, Warlock, Runemaster, Spiritmaster, Thane, Valkyrie.

Since the discovery of the Labyrinth however, the Minotaurs have reappeared.
